Nuala Keane is the mother of 3 children, all of whom are now involved in education and teaching. Watching her children grow from babies to toddlers, and watching how they learn, inspired Nuala to become involved in Early Childhood Education and a playschool at Primrose Hill opened its doors.
It was in later years through her involvement and work with St. John of Gods in Celbridge that an interest in the methods of Maria Montessori was formed. Nuala studied in St. Nicholas Montessori Training College in the mid nineties and so began Primrose Montessori Preschool. At this early age Maria Montessori says "that the child's mind is like a fertile field in which seeds may be sown to germinate later under the flaming heat of the imagination". This is the ethos of Primrose Montessori Preschool
